Six kilometres of sand beneath the Risco de Famara, a cliff over 600 metres high. This is the island's surf beach and one of the most recognisable views in Lanzarote.

Watch out for

Strong currents and surf: this is not a beach for swimming with children, or for swimming carelessly at all. People come to walk, to watch the sunset or to surf with a school.
