Yaiza
A black-sand beach on Yaiza's north-facing coast, fully exposed to the Atlantic, right next to (but not part of) the Charco de los Clicos green lagoon. Entering the Charco itself is forbidden — it is a protected nature reserve.

Watch out for
Dangerous currents, typical of the island's north coast. Come for the scenery and the village's restaurants, not to swim with children.
